Patterns of convection and distribution of binary particles under vibration and airflow

Granular matter exists widely in nature and engineering practice exhibits abundant complex phenomena of convection separation. Here, we focus on the pattern distribution binary particles under vibration airflow. Various patterns were observed. It is found that shows four are similar, but not identical to those mono-component granular system. The same particle often obtained with different cases airflow, one tends appear pattern. has an important influence distribution. These findings expected have implications for a basic understanding separation material.
